Information

Charlies Foundation for Research is at the forefront of medical advancements, dedicated to funding innovative research at Perth’s Sir Charles Gairdner and Osborne Park Hospitals. As the primary fundraising body, we unite researchers, staff, patients, donors, sponsors, and partners to drive translational, patient-centred research. In 2022/2023, we provided $1 million in funding to support groundbreaking projects that significantly impact patient welfare. Our foundation prioritises new research and young researchers, offering seed funding to help promising projects secure substantial grants from peak bodies. Through our community’s generosity, we enable transformative care and outcomes for patients locally and globally. Our commitment to innovation, community, and accountability ensures that we continually support research that inspires better patient care and health outcomes.
