Overview

Drone use and filming at QEIIMC is allowed with the appropriate licence, approval and accreditation. There are specific rules and guidelines for drone use in the city of Perth and specific to a public health campus. All users must ensure all policies and procedures are followed. Rules for recreational drone use

  • Drone must be flown higher than 120m above ground level
  • Only fly during daylight hours
  • Always keep your drone at least 30m away from other people and never fly over another person.
  • If you are flying within 1.4km of a helicopter landing site and there is a helicopter nearby, you must fly your drone away and land it.
  • You must obtain the appropriate licence and accreditation to fly and film. See application form below for further details.
