eRideable use on Campus

The Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre (QEIIMC) Trust is committed to promoting a sustainable transport environment and reducing congestion by encouraging alternatives such as walking, cycling, public transport and other alternate methods. With the growing number of eRideable users commuting to the QEIIMC campus, it is essential to ensure safety for all. For this reason, eRideable users must comply with the following requirements:

  • Do not ride on Hospital Avenue (road)
  • Do not exceed 10 km/h anywhere on the QEIIMC campus
  • Only ride on roads where there is no dividing line
  • Keep left and always give way to pedestrians
  • Dismount when crossing roads
  • Wear an approved helmet at all times
  • Be at least 16 years of age to operate an eRideable on campus

Compliance with the Law

Please note the only devices that meet the relevant legal definitons and specifications are permitted for use on the QEIIMC campus.

All users must comply with Western Australian laws and regulations including the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre (Delegated Site) By-Laws 1986 and the Road Traffic Code 2000.

Please read through the QEIIMC Trust eRideable Policy carefully. We appreciate your cooperation in helping to maintain a safe and accesible environment for patients, staff, students, and visitors.
