QEIIMC Digital Wayfinding
The Digital Wayfinding and Kiosk Solution aims to improve navigation and accessibility for patients, visitors, and staff across the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre (QEIIMC) and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH). By implementing a cloud-based wayfinding platform, the Trust seeks to enhance patient, visitor and staff experience, and optimise operational efficiency.
Key Highlights of Digital Wayfinding:
- Point to point mapping: Map from home, your current location or anywhere within the QEIIMC ensuring you find your required destination.
- Hospital Kiosks: Along with Digital Wayfinding, The Trust has installed kiosks within SCGH to assist with parking information, TravelSmart services and mapping within SCGH. Kiosk locations:
- Main Entrance - opposite Patient Transport Services on E Street
- Watling Walk North - outside the Western Australian Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service
- Watling Walk Central - opposite the G Block entrance
- Watling Walk South - near the Blue Lifts
- COMING SOON - A Block Foyer and Outpatients
- Parking: Map to and from carparks within QEIIMC, making it easier to find convenient and suitable parking.
- Internal mapping: Points of interests, entrances, clinics and other areas are now available within the Digital Wayfinding solution. This will ensure you can find your required location within SCGH.
- Support Services: From cafés to shops, ATMs, and other amenities to make your visit comfortable.
