Information

Lions Optics is a one-stop-shop for optical care located within the QEIIMC campus. It operates as a not-for-profit organisation and is closely affiliated with the Lions Eye Institute. With its own on-site laboratory technician, Lions Optics provides a myriad of services—from basic eye testing to more complex procedures like retinal photography.

They offer Medicare bulk-billing for most cases and a direct claiming facility through private health covers. Besides that, their expertise also extends to filling sometimes unusual prescriptions, thanks to their close association with Lions Eye Institute specialists. With a broad range of both budget and designer frames, Lions Optics caters to a diverse clientele.

They also provide spectacle repairs, adjustments, and ultrasonic cleaning. The establishment is equipped to dispense contact lenses and carries an assortment of safety and sports frames, as well as accessories and low vision aids.
