to Park

All vehicles entering the QEIIMC are subject to the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre (Delegated Site) By-laws 1986.

The main visitor car parks are the Multi Deck and Visitor Car Park 1. These are accessible via Winthrop Avenue. You can view the map below to see these parking areas and more on campus. Please observe the signage where you park. Visitor parking fees apply.

The height restriction for Visitors and Staff turning right at the entry gates to the Multi-deck Car Park is 2.2m. The ACROD and loading bay areas (left hand turn from Multi-deck Car Park left entry lane) are 3.4m. There is no height restriction for Pay by Plate (Non Boom-Gated) Car Parks e.g. Visitor Car Park 3A, SNRI Car Park, DD Block Car Park, C Block Car Park.

Drop Off Bays

There are a number of drop-off bays throughout the QEIIMC. The main drop-off bays off Hospital Avenue are located at G Block (Adults’ Emergency), E Block (main entry to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital), Perth Children’s Hospital, B Block and A Block off Gairdner Drive and Verdun Street.

Buggy Service

The QEIIMC also has a Free Buggy Service which may be able to help visitors with mobility issues and take them to their appointments within the QEIIMC. For more information visit the Services page by clicking here.

Boom-Gated Car Parks

Pay for parking in the Multi Deck Car Park, Cancer Centre Basement Car Park, PCH Basement Car Park and Visitor Car Park 7 using the provided pay stations at the end of your visit before exiting the Car Park. (Please see payment instructions on the rate board by the pay station)

Pay by Plate (Non Boom-Gated) Car Parks

Pay stations

Pay for parking in any visitor open-air car park by using the pay stations provided before attending your appointment (Please see payment instructions on the rate board by the pay station).

ParkEasy

Parking at QEIIMC is easier and safer than ever, with touch-free, app-free parking now available.

You can now pay using ParkEasy simply by scanning a QR code. You’ll find codes on the pay stations, pay station rate boards or below.

It’s as easy as:

1. SCAN the QR code

You’ll be taken straight to the ParkEasy payment portal to enter your license plate number.

2. PAY using Google Pay, Apple Pay, or by entering your credit card details.

You won’t need to touch a parking meter, sign up for anything, or download a parking app.

3. GO!

Enter your email if you want a receipt. Or, just walk away and get on with your day. If you request a receipt, your receipt will allow you to check how much time you have left on your parking and will give you the option to top up your parking.

Please note

The parking conditions for the SCGH Piazza Car Park is restricted to 3hr maximum (per 24 hours) parking. Once the 3hr maximum parking allocation has expired, the vehicle will need to be moved to a long term parking area e.g. Multi Deck Car Park.

As per the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre (Delegated Site) By-Laws 1986 visitor parking rates are as follows (as at 01/08/2022):

7 hours – 24 hours $25.20

Please note that additional charges apply after 24 hours.

Patients of the two hospitals onsite may be able to access subsidised parking according to specific criteria.  For further information please see the links below.

Parking Department

Parking permits and infringement notices are managed by the QEIIMC Parking Department.

Wilson Parking manage the operation of the car parks on behalf of International Parking Group (the owners of the Multi Deck Car Park) including the collection of parking fees, servicing of equipment and Multi Deck Car Park maintenance.
